A vacancy has arisen for a Headquarters Cadet Quartermaster (Crown Servant, Pay Band D).

The post covers the counties of Gwent and Powys and the successful applicant will be based at the Army Cadet Force (ACF) Headquarters office at Cwrt Y Gollen, Crickhowell.

The salary band currently starts at £28,348 per annum on an all hours worked contract. This includes an enhancement to offset the unsocial working hours and for hours worked in excess of standard hours.

There is a CARE Pension scheme in place.

The successful candidate will be entitled to 25-30 days annual leave allowance depending upon previous service with either the Armed Forces or another Government Department in addition to 9 Public and Privilege holidays.

The successful candidate will be required to serve a probationary period of six months and final confirmation of the appointment is dependent upon the satisfactory completion of this probationary period.

The successful candidate will be required to be Security Cleared (SC) and have an Enhanced Disclosure check completed from the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).
