The Reserve Forces’ and Cadets’ Association (RFCA) for Wales will attend the Vale of Glamorgan Council Armed Forces Day Festival and Parade this summer.
On Saturday 9 June 2018, RFCA for Wales will hold a stall in the military village at the event on Barry Island. We want you to come and see us to learn about our work!
We will join dozens of other organisations and thousands of members of the public to show support for the armed forces community, reserves, cadets and veterans.
For all who attend, it will be an opportunity to celebrate, honour and thank past and present service personnel for their commitment, sacrifice and dedication to the country.
The day will be full of exciting events and activities for the whole family, including a marching parade, which will feature; the Royal Marine Band, RAF St Athan Band, City of Newport Pipes and Drums, HMS Cambria, 203 (Welsh) Field Hospital, 614 (County of Glamorgan) Squadron RAF, cadets, veterans and more.
Attractions on the day will include military displays and vehicles, such as; the Royal Marine Commando Display Team, a cadet gun run, military climbing walls and the Royal Navy Sea King helicopter.
Show your support and #SaluteOurForces this summer. Visit the RFCA for Wales stall on Saturday 9 June to learn more about the opportunities to gain qualifications and experiences as a reservist, cadet and volunteer.
You can find us on stall 20, near the Army Cadet Force (ACF) and army transport vehicles stalls.
